The Rock Box on Capitol Hill
Always wanted to show off your Grammy-worthy voice to your sweetie, but too intimidated by big crowds to participate in normal karaoke? Well, we have the answer!
Seattle’s newest karaoke sensation, THE ROCK BOX!
Rock Box is a Japanese style karaoke club - aka "karaoke box." They have a full bar and 12 private rooms that you and your sweetie (or a group of your friends!) can reserve to eat, drink and sing. Boxes vary in size and are suitable for 1-2 (kissy kissy!) up to 15+ people.It’s just $7 per person per hour, so sing for a bit or sing all night long! (For groups larger than eight, they offer flat rates depending on room size.) AND, if that’s not great enough, during happy hour (Monday-Saturday 4p-8p and all day Sunday) they offer drink specials and a discounted karaoke rate of $4 per person per hour. Sweet Jesus that’s a good deal.
Their boxes are equipped with flat screen tv's and cable, and can be booked for sporting or movie events as well. Party in a box!
They JUST opened up on Capitol Hill, so get in while you can. I have a feeling this place will book up fast once people start to hear about it!

Way to go on winning the karaoke contest!! more reviews I wanted to run this race, but didn't end up making it happen. Hopefully next year!
